My Back to School Haul

I love shopping for back to school and started picking up bits and pieces at the end of June. This year I really didn’t need much as I will be working in resource and have lots of things already. However, I decided to pick up a few new bits too.

What planner will I use this year?

Ever since I first started teaching I wanted a Folens/EDCO teacher diary and attended both of their book launches last year to get the free teacher planners. I attended again this year and was impressed with the planners.

Worry Monster; How do I use it in the classroom?

I’ve been looking to get a worry monster for a while and was delighted to pick this one up yesterday in Euro Giant. I’ve had a worry monster/worry box in my classroom for the last 5 years and really like the idea. The Worry Monster You can either buy a worry monster like above or […]

Mr Price; School Supplies

I did a little back to school shop in Mr. Price last July- picking up some essentials like folders and plastic pockets so yesterday I decided to pop in again. Mr. Price is probably my favourite shop for school supplies. They usually have everything I need and more. I have visited most of their Dublin […]

Euro Giant; School Supplies

Søstrene Grene; School Supplies

For all the Dublin/Athlone based teachers this shop is great! Founded by two Danish ladies – Anna and Clara, it is full of cute bits and pieces, stationery, storage boxes, household items and more.

The Works; School Supplies

I first visited ‘The Works’ while working in the UK and was really impressed with their offers! There are now 3 stores in Ireland (Republic) – one in Killarney and two in Dublin – in the Square in Tallaght and Omni Park in Santry as well as a number of stores in Northern Ireland.
