Cake Days

Cake days started while I was teaching in a tough school in Brighton – one afternoon after a particularly rough day a few of us decided to go for a coffee after work and it soon became a weekly tradition – we tried out lots of different coffee shops and it was a great way to unwind, laugh and have a rant about things.

Last year cake days were infrequent and usually just myself and another colleague but so far this year more people have been joining us each week – everyone is welcome but theres no pressure to come if people are not free. We usually save the cake day for a particularly bad day or a day when most people can make it.

Today we went to a beautiful cafe which had amazing homemade treats and was so cute!

Todays venue was The Hazel House

Cake days are brilliant and I’d definitely recommend them!
