I recently shared the above photograph on Facebook and Instagram. This was a display by one of my colleagues which integrated Art and History. The children chose a famous person in history – wrote some interesting facts about the person and then created an image and background about them.
Here are just three examples of finished pieces about The Wright Brothers, Albert Einstein and Padraig Pearse.
How to make them;
This is the template – its hand drawn so I don’t have a digital copy unfortunately. (Just measure the top of the page and then measure down the same amount – to make a square. Draw lines on the remainder of the page for writing. Photocopy onto card)
Cut along one of the diagonals to the middle.
Fold all other lines that make up the square.
Finished piece. (Glue down the triangle to make the back more sturdy)
