When my class were learning about weight, they found it a bit tricky to convert grams to kilograms – especially in fraction and decimal format so this resource is really useful for this!
Some ways to use these cards
- Matching game – find the corresponding metre
- Order all the cm/ the metre and centimetre or the metres (decimal)
- Give the children a mix (of the 4 formats) and ask them to put them in order
- Round the measurements to the nearest metre
- Find the difference between two measurements
- Find the total of two measurements
